More to come...

Since this is an ongoing project, I will be adding to this page as we proceed through the development of the startup venture. Next step is to gather feedback on the prototype.

When you're going Lean, one of the most cost-effective ways to gather insights is through interviews. Below is a view of the table I created to track interview feedback. Within it, I note which problem was the top problem for each interviewee, along with any other problems and potential solutions they mentioned.

CUSTOMER RESEARCH

With this data, I can then take a look at the linked table of problems and determine which one came up most often during interviews. This helps me prioritize and determine which problems are "must-solve" and which ones can be tackled later.

This was the fun part. We got together and gathered all of the data and research we had conducted from the above and began brainstorming an MVP solution. The goal was to solve only the top problems - we would not concern ourselves with any of the other problems that were brought up but that weren't "must-solves".

After many hours, we narrowed down our ideas to a few and I began work on a mockup. I then iterated on the idea as we returned to our potential early adopters and solicited feedback. Below are some screenshots of the Android concept mockup that we came up with.

SOLUTION MOCKUP

After many hours spent learning Javascript, Node, and React, and then a bunch more hours spent coding, I was able to build the very first prototype of our app. This prototype is meant for our alpha user group to try out and provide us feedback so that we may validate the solution. Since the goal is to learn, it was designed to do only the following:
